Frankfort Armory Dedication Ceremony Photos 1958
A newspaper article published in the Courier Journal on 8 February 1958 Section 1, page 2 reported that the $300,000 National Guard Armory at Capital City Airport would be dedicated at 2 p.m. on February 23rd. Speakers for the event, according to the article were Governor Chandler and Adjutant General J. J. B. Williams. The images are courtesy Chief Master Sergeant (R) Jim Turpin from the collection of Brig. Gen. Taylor Davidson who was Assistant Adjutant General at the time of the event.
